Question

A 10 month old male is brought to your clinic by his father for a rash in his diaper area. Dad states that it started a few days ago after he had gotten over some diarrhea, and he thinks it is getting more red. On exam, you notice beefy red plaques in the diaper area that include the intertriginous folds. The picture just shows the redness near the upper gluteal folds, but the rash goes on the groin side as well. Vital signs are normal.
