Yanbu Royal Commission hospital, which is having a great reputation in the kingdom, wants to automate all their hospital process through a new Hospital Management System. Some of the challenges faced by the hospital are poor management of administrative affairs, Lack of real-time updates across the departments and unsatisfied customer service. The new system should be powerful, flexible and easy to use solutions which deliver real benefits to the hospital. Their administration aims to provide more accuracy and easy usability to streamline hospital administration such as
- Easier patient record management.
- Reduced paperwork, faster information flow between various departments, greater organizational flexibility.
- Reliable and timely information, minimal medicine inventory levels, reduced wastage.
- Reduced waiting time at the counters for patients and reduced registration time for patients.
- Better customer services and improved image of the hospital.
- Better working hours for employees.
Task 1 -
Assume you are the System Analysts who are in charge of gathering information for this system development project. You are planning to interview the Patients and Administrative Staffs in the hospital. Design at least fifteen (15) Interview questions for each category of interviewee and arrange them in a particular structure (Pyramid, Funnel or Diamond). After that by using Google form conduct online survey and create a report on the results.
Task 2 -
By using the result of Task 1 construct a Physical Data Flow Diagram for the new Hospital Management System.
