My philosophical worldview most closely aligns with pragmatism. That is, pragmatism is defined as thinking of or dealing with problems in a practical way rather than by using theory or abstract principles (Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 1999). Moreover, Nubiola (2021) notes in his article that "It is not easy to explain what pragmatism is." How does understanding the connection between philosophical worldview and research methodology assists your research approach? Understanding the connection between pragmatism and research methodology will assist me in my researching approach. By knowing that pragmatism involves certain research designs that include practical decisions based on what will work best when trying to locate answers to the questions you are probing will enable the pragmatic researcher to conduct research in an innovative and dynamic way that will assist them in finding solutions to research problems. Author Kunderevych (2023) notes that by focusing on a systematic approach and a dialectical method, will provide the opportunity to determine the features of the worldview paradigm in the context of sociocultural transformations and cultural practices. How can scriptures be used as a lens through which you use research? The scriptures can be used as lens to focus on the various aspects of law and research. The scriptures are the most important and valuable lens because when using this lens, the reader and researcher will be focusing in on what God want accomplished. This is the center of scripture. The bible was given to show us what we need to do to be right with God and to guide us in accomplishing that task. However, this lens does not only help us see what is necessary for us in our time, but it also enlighten us to God's expectation.
