"You will pick a current event that you think has philosophical importance as each topic is covered for all of the areas of philosophy. Add an analysis of the situation given the tools and ideas being covered in order: Socratic method, ethics, religion, issues of human freedom, and social philosophy for each week. You will cite the current event, attach the source with your writing and provide an explanation of how that event ties into the topic being discussed each week. The final paper should reflect an understanding and analysis of the topics listed and their relationship to current events. The following chart will help guide you through each week.

Week 5 2 Current Event sources Provide the facilitator with a 1–2 page analysis of the philosophical significance of ISSUES OF HUMAN FREEDOM in current events.

Week 6 Collate all of the analysis papers written into one final document that touches on all of the 6 subjects discussed in the lectures. The paper must be written with vocabulary appropriate to the subject, correct spelling and grammar and show insights for all the topics as they relate to the current events previously analyzed. Provide citations of the sources used. Final Paper

750–1,000-word essay double-spaced. Paper must be written in APA format.
