FRQ: Perspectives in Psychology

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has been a stressor for people worldwide. The resulting stress (fear, anxiety, and frustration about the disease, social distancing, and quarantine and containment) can bring forth strong emotions. Coping with that stress effectively (seeing it as a challenge to overcome, rather than a threat) can make us stronger as a community.

In our current scenario, individuals are responding differently to COVID - with some isolating themselves entirely, others engaging in the "corona challenge," and many more somewhere in between.

Describe [define] each psychological perspective below and use them [apply] to explain how people are responding to and coping with the spread of COVID-19.
