Assignment:
When answering these parts to the question, please answer it in the perspective of a student majoring in psychology, and who plans to go on to study and work in the field of neuropsychiatry.
After reviewing the videos from the content section, this question will focus on the Unreasonable Hospitality video. In his book Unreasonable Hospitality, The Remarkable Power of Giving People More Than They Expect, Will Guidara discusses his thoughts and driving force behind his success. This unreasonable hospitality concept became his driving force to success. As you saw in the videos, and I linked another summary below, this concept is not exclusive to just hospitality. This thought process, mind set, or way of thinking can be applied to any sector of business that has any type of human interaction.
For this discussion question please (again),
A. State your major and intended career path.
B. Consider an interaction that will occur within your career and who the actors will be. Be specific as to the opportunities for creating moments of truth within that interaction.
C. Next, discuss an unreasonable hospitality experience you can create for a guest, client, patient, or customer. Please think deeply about this part of the discussion. It should not just be (for example), making sure the guest's hotel room is clean. That is an expectation. Think way outside the box. (Think about the $2 hotdog).
D. How does this week's lessons and videos change your view on your role as a service provider?
