For this assignment, you may research either 1) personality testing in the workplace (i.e., hiring and selection process) or 2) cultural differences in personality.
For example, if you choose option 1, some employers will use personality assessments to screen potential employees while others use them to determine leadership qualities and best placement in an organization.
In addition, research has been conducted on the impact of various personality types within the workplace (e.g., conflict).
Write in essay form using APA style. Include a title page, reference page, in-text citations, one-inch margins, five-space indent, 12-point font, and double-spacing.
This paper should be a minimum of two pages (excluding the title page and reference page) and should include a minimum of two scholarly sources (as noted above). When you are searching for articles in the online library you can limit your search to ONLY full text and scholarly articles (check the boxes on the search page). Your paper will include the following elements:
- An overview/summary of each article.
- Discussion on what you found most interesting in each article and why.
- Inclusion of a concluding paragraph in which you describe a few "take-away" points from your research into this topic.
