  • It is not unusual for people to have boring or bad day at work, however when the situation creates a negative feeling at work, this can impacts performance behavior. An organization that promotes a positive working environment tends to influence a great customers service, increase levels of productivity and the general willingness in self improvement. Again a good example of the impact of a positive working environment is that it builds on a god working relations where organization departments can effectively interact with one another towards realizing organizational success. Attitudes influence the nature of business relations and the general attitude of the individuals towards the success of the organization.

Personality Influences perception

 There is no one size fits all when it comes to personality traits, however. Characteristics tend to influence workplace behavior. An example is having type X and type Y personalities where Type X are driven while Type Y are laid back. Type X can be considered to be aggressive, focused, and goal oriented while Type B can be considered to be quiet, disengaged and passive. As a manager presented with employees with such stereotype, you can change this perception through encouraging communication between the coworkers on their perceptions as employees or as an individual. These personality traits can influence the general success of the organization because they generally influence performance.

Impact of attitudes and behaviors 

One of the major challenge or organizational behavior and employee attitudes is overcoming cultural and ethnic diversity existing among employees. This is largely because of the difference in employees' opinions, beliefs, and their nature of working. This presents a challenge for employees to coexist and work as a team. Organizations can have training programs and workshops for addressing such issues among employees. By putting p such measures, the approach here is ensure that you expose how much diversity is actually of great benefit and ensures that employees appreciate the contributions of one another towards organizational success. Such challenges can be addressed of the management promotes co-existence and appreciation of one cultural identity and difference within the organization.
