Assignment:

• Introduce your issue to include the origin, relevance, and current state of your issue both within the United States and globally.
• An ongoing issue that I have decided to write about is monkeypox. Monkeypox cases have been increasing throughout the United states. In total there are 10,392 cases in the United States. Worldwide there are more than 19,000 cases that have been reported.
•  your personal view regarding the issue and defend your view with evidence or personal experience.
• My view is that it is an issue. An issue that a lot of individuals are not informed about. People don't really know how monkeypox spreads. What the symptoms are. People do not know  what the treatment is after having monkeypox.
• What additional information do you believe needs to be shared with the public to better inform and align stakeholders on the issue?

Information on what monkeypox  is and how it spreads should be shared. The more information on the topic the better it is for everyone

• What do you believe is the biggest roadblock to achieving public consensus regarding the issue?

The biggest problem with monkeypox is knowing what is going on with the family . It is hard to treat it when an individual does know what is going on or what precautions they should be taking in the first place.  Once people become informed with this information there would no be a high result of cases. once there is more information on how it is spread and what precautions to take the issue would be better.
