Question 

My program illustrates my personal journey and reflects my experiences as a leader in the Human Service field over the past 25 years. I intend to concentrate on the underrepresentation of Black women in decision-making roles and suggest initiatives organizations can implement to enhance representation, promotion, and inclusivity in their everyday work environment, thereby improving staff morale. Research has shown that effectively implementing diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives, along with the necessary support of mentorship, executive coaching, and training, is not just beneficial but necessary for the workplace. However, the representation of Black females continues to be limited in many organizations due to barriers placed before them. The plan is to show how intersectionality theory considers race and gender and how each influences the other and creates additional obstacles for Black women aspiring to secure managerial positions (Jean-Marie., et al., 2009). Katz (2021) states that achieving genuinely inclusive leadership requires identifying and eliminating barriers and obstacles to advancement.
