A simple pendulum consists of a small ball tied to the ceiling of an elevator by a light string. The string has a length of 1.20 m, and the elevator has an acceleration of 1.10 m/sz, directed up. Use 9 = 9.80 m/sz. What is the period of the oscillations of this pendulum? Assume that the oscillations have a small amplitude.
