Assignment -
Working on a retrospective database using over 1 million clinical samples with continuous and categorical variables. At present this is looking at Outcome in in-vitro fertilisation outcomes.
Performing a multivariate logistic regression analysis to find out a particular outcome method.
Question: Does the method of fertilisation (IVF or ICSI) impact on outcome (Livebirth, presented as a categorical outcome yes or no) when analysed for the number of oocytes retrieved classified as a categorical variable (6 groups).
In essences, achieve the analysis outcome as shown on the attached picture.
Note - Need help with "how to do it" as would not be able to send the data across for information governance reasons.
The help required:
1) The dataset is that of all assisted reproductive treatment cycles performed in a unit
It contains female age, number of previous IVF cycles, method of fertilisation (IVF or ICSI), number of oocyte collected, Stage of embryo transfer, number of embryos transferred and outcomes in the form of clinical pregnancy and livebirth.
All of these outcomes are in columns and are recorded as categorical variables.
2) The study questions is, Does the method of fertilisation (IVF or ICSI) affect outcome (livebirth, clinical pregnancy) when analysed for the category of oocytes collected
3) Performed binary logistic regression to see the Odds of performing a said method of fertilisation based on the oocyte category adjusted for confounders( female age, number of previous cycle and no of oocytes collected)".
