As a Contract Specialist, describe real-life examples to be inputted under "Standards" in an employee performance review for the following performance element - Technical Competence.

Element Description: This factor describes/captures the application of technical knowledge and skills needed to perform successfully in a specific job within the organization.

Standards:

a. Demonstrates awareness of the procurement life cycle. With support, inputs and updates realistic milestones into acquisition milestones feature of
Paperless Contract File (PCF) to include documenting challenges in meeting the PALT baselines in the PC award comment section.

b. Demonstrates the necessary understanding and skills in utilizing various automated programs and systems that support the contracting process. Throughout the rating cycle, employee becomes more self-sufficient and displays the initiative to learn by doing such things as taking notes during training session(s) and consulting scribed notes when performing task the second or third time.

c. With oversight, reviews individual documents within procurement package and is able to identify inconsistencies if any and discuss those inconsistencies with a trainer, team member, or supervisor.
