Activity 1: Review and assess staff performance Additional scenario You have met with the Front of House Manager to discuss the team's performance and gain an overall staff performance evaluation. The Front of house manager has informed that most staff look to Pablo or Ondro for guidance and leadership. Most of the staff get along well, but tom is very shy and doesn't interact much with the other staff and Sara is quite opinionated which can cause some friction with other staff members. And Jeremy is great with customers but does not get his jobs done and the other bar staff have to pick up his work which can also cause some friction. Performance standards that need addressing include; Sara - needs to acknowledge and greet customers within 2 minutes of arrival, must explain specials to customers when ordering and pass on important information to other staff members such as gluten free meal to kitchen or one of the special dishes have run out. Tom - has had some dress standard issues lately, his uniform is not ironed and sometime not clean and his personal hygiene and presentation is not up to business standards, staff have commented on his bad.
