Question - Perform an analysis of the liquidity ratios, asset management ratios, debt management ratios and profitability ratios. Use the company MAXIS BERHAD and company DIGI BERHAD in Bursa Malaysia.

Please consider the following set of ratios as your starting point:

(i) Liquidity: current ratio, quick ratio

(ii) Asset management: average collection period, inventory turnover, total asset turnover

(iii) Debt management: debt ratio, debt to equity

(iv) Profitability: profit margin, return on assets, return on equity

-Calculate all the ratios as mentioned above for the last three financial years (2019, 2018 and 2017).

-Perform time series analyses on both companies separately based on the ratios computed in question (1). The time series analyses should go beyond mathematical analyses.

-Subsequently please perform a comparative analysis between the chosen companies. The comparative analysis should base on the ratios that you computed in question (1).

-What is your investment decision? Justify your decision based on your findings.
