Project: The goal of this project is to complete understanding and simulation of topics in project 1. In this project you will select the parameters and do all of the Matlab coding. Specifically you will need to:

Question 1: Understand and simulate the radar transmitted and return signals with added noise, delay and Doppler shifts to the return signal . You do not need to model elevation and azimuth, only range.

Question 2: Select your pulse width, PRI or multiple PRIs, pulse modulation, CPI, sampling rate, etc.

Question 3: Perform the matched filtering on the return signal with and without pulse compression techniques and compare the difference with variable noise levels

Question 4: Form the slow time/fast time matrix over each CPI and do appropriate FFT processing to obtain the Doppler vs range bin matrix. You should simulate many CPIs worth of data

Question 5: For each Doppler vs range bin matrix you will need to determine a detection algorithm that is suitable with variable amounts of added noise and have the ability to detect the target signals in noise to determine each target range and Doppler (velocity). One method is to look at CFAR algorithms. You can include a moving target indication (MTI) algorithm if you wish.

As stated above there are no restrictions and starting code. It is up to each group as to selection of parameters and how to do your simulation. It must be done in Matlab and be all functions in one file. You must have at least 5 target signals at different ranges and velocities. More are fine.

You need to describe the choices you make and simulation at each step. Things such as range resolution, range ambiguity, pulse compression related to Doppler resolution, etc. given your simulation choices such as pulse width, PRI, pulse compression technique, etc.

Your code will need some "Monte Carlo" loops by definition since you have to vary the noise level from high SNR to low SNR until you can no longer detect the targets.

This is fairly loosely defined since I want each group to come up with a simulation from scratch given your understand of and research into radar processing. You should be able to plot the results at each stage and range Doppler maps as well as detection plots. Comparison of detected range and Doppler vs truth would be nice over the different SNR values.

I believe this is something that is needed though as per part 3 of the project. I believe what is needed is a second figure basically doing the same thing as the first, just using the noncompressed data. The noncompressed data is on line 4 This is the question for hole project but you have to do as per our request.which send .but do follow strictly the guideline given

Please check this file. A little correction is needed where institutions are given .Can you do this ? this is a working implementation of the matched filter with and without pulse compression. Please see lines 45-52, and 276-end. the graphical representation of the data after matched filtering without pulse compression is not added.
