Security 1 - Home Security Audit

Objectives:
-Get a general sense of what security audit is
-Demonstrate an ability to draft basic network layouts
-Learn to find threats to network integrity
-Prepare a professionally formatted report suitable for archiving.

Summary:
Individual assignment.
Perform network audit of your home network. You must use nmap and other network tools to determine the state of devices on your network
Requirements:
To demonstrate that the audit is complete submit a professionally formatted report that includes following sections:
-Title page
-Table of contents
-Summary
-Time stamps of all of scans performed
-Network topology that reflects following information:
• Networks presented
• Interconnections between identified networks
• All devices(yes, even gaming systems and cell phones) connected to network-- IP address, MAC address, OS, Network Services/Ports open
• Visio or equal quality topology map
-List of identified threats to company's integrity with suggestions for improvement (minimum 5)
-List of references (you must show that you had conducted research)
