Wearable computer with augmented reality (AR) to assist a user in a task. Each student will select a unique microprocessor as the main CPU. Additional support processors can be added as required.

The system should be able to perform general computing operations (it should run an operating system) such as those performed on a laptop or desktop plus excel at a special AR task. You are to decide exactly what that task is and how to implement it into the system.

All the system components must be integrated into a user's clothing or be mounted on the body. Thus, consider weight, heat dissipation and movement to be a factor.

Some other items you may want to consider:

1) Define the specific AR task the computer is designed to perform

2) Determine all major components

3) Determine power for system (also how long can it operate?)

4) List pros and cons of system

5) Address how long can the user wear the computer

6) Provide details about the type of AR display and any sensors or other special features

The processor for my main CPU is the Intel Atom x5-z8500. My idea for an AR task is a headset that show you how to play a song on an instrument like the piano by showing the user what notes to press.

What operating system & other processors CPU,GPU ,DSP would go well with my main CPU to preform this task?
