Q2. Perform a cross-tabulation analysis along with a chi-square test using the raw data as follows:

(1) Use the "employee data.xls" data to create a contingency table using gender (1: male, 0: female) as an independent variable and job category (1: clerical, 2: custodial, 3: manager) as a dependent variable. The table should present both observed frequency and column percentage for each cell.

(2) Calculate expected frequencies for each cell.

(3) Use Excel to perform the chi-square test if job type allocations are different between male and female employees. Interpret the results.

Q3. Use the "marketvalues.xls" data to assess if and how much house size in squared feet ("sqft"), days on market before sold ("marktime") and purchase price in dollars ("value") are associated each other. Perform a correlation analysis in Excel and interpret the results.
