To support the development and growth of the Australian business in the world market, you are to form a group of four persons to perform a foreign market analysis for an Australian business. Your choice of country will need to be negotiated within your group but you must get the lecturer's approval on your final choice by second visit (Mar. 9th, 2021). Below are examples of local companies that could be studied.
• Haymes Paint Pty Ltd
• Hakubaku Pty Ltd
• Gekko System Pty Ltd
• Federation University Australia (if the group chooses this organization, focus the programs offered in School of Business only)
This assessment task is designed to develop skills and capability in the process of developing International Marketing Strategy. This requires you to draw on the key principles of the unit and international marketing in general. It also requires you to apply your international market intelligence and research skills and to develop a robust and well-supported International Marketing Strategy for an assigned/agreed company.
You are required to present your findings (10 ~15 minutes) and submit a written international marketing plan. Assume that the target audience is senior management. These people know the product and company very well. Tell these managers something that they do not already know. Concentrate your efforts on the most important issues that you have learned from this unit as well as other subjects.

The written report and the presentation for this assignment are expected to conform to the following standards.
• Your written report should take the form of a business report and include an executive summary.
• The clarity and succinctness of executive summary
• Demonstrate ability to apply theories and concepts into the marketing analysis
• Quality of the analysis for each major areas of the marketing plan
• The practicality, effectiveness and logic of any recommendations
• The general quality of delivery and presentation
• University standard English written skills, spell & grammar-checked.
• Any relevant supporting information should be included in appendices at the end of the report.
• Source material should be correctly identified and referenced. If you are unsure about the format please ask me for advice and guidance. There is a lot of secondary research needed for this assignment - start researching now!
Note: Peer evaluation sheet and peer groups assessment will be used to moderate your grade for this assessment task if this assignment changes to group assignment based on the number of students enrolled in this class.

Assessment Task: Presentation to the Board
On-campus students are required to provide a presentation of their findings (maximum 20 minutes including organizing and transition time) during the tutorial of Week 11 or 12 (or as otherwise advised by your local lecturer).
