Effect of Different Diet Programs on Weight Loss: In an attempt to improve the fitness of a company's pilots with the goal of reducing health insurance costs, all were measured for height and weight to calculate their BMI. Those that were found to have a BMI over 25 were offered a weight loss program. Three weight loss programs were offered: diet alone, exercise alone, and diet plus exercise. They were given the chance to choose the program that suited them and their life style. Random samples of pilots' weights were selected from each group. The number of pounds lost over a four week program are shown below.
