Perfect Phrases for Division-Level Objectives

The next level on which the new hire needs to focus is the division or business unit. Many of the objectives are the same as the organization-level objectives; however, they are focused on the division instead of the overall organization. The new employee will likely focus on both organization and division-level objectives at the same time. It is important to be purposeful when identifying the timing for each objective so they build on one another.

  1. Learn about the division's overall structure.
  2. Schedule trips with (these designated key stakeholders).
  3. Build an understanding of the overall division strategy.
  4. Become familiar with the division financials.
  5. Learn how each division drives the overall business.
