Assume you are a manager for the Bureau of Human Services. As a manager, you feel one of your employees named Michael has not performed up to standards on a particular task of processing case records, a crucial part of the job. At the Bureau, the number of complaints processed by employees is normally distributed, with a mean of 67 forms per employee per day, and a standard deviation of 7. You calculated that this particular employee's average rate is 50 forms per day.
