It can be difficult enough to manage and lead people in a traditional work environment where everyone is in the same physical location at the same time. When managing and leading in a virtual environment, the challenges increase, and the manager's or leader's role may change.

For this Discussion, research current thinking and practices related to the management and leadership roles in virtual environments and consider any additional insights from your personal experience (as manager, leader, or employee) working virtually and/or globally in a dispersed online environment.

Post by Day 3, a few paragraphs explaining how managers and leaders in a virtual organization could enhance and support their employees' knowledge and creative problem-solving skills in the workplace.
