PCR is a very complex process to mimic. Too much DNA and the "washing machine" is too full resulting in poor amplification. Other than preventing contamination, what steps can we take to ensure we don't get too much DNA into the reaction (or in other words, how do we prevent too many clothes getting in the washer)?
