1. Paul made a written contract with Judy. The contract covered the sale of 1 acre of real estate. Before the contract was signed it was agreed that Judy would reconvey a 20-foot strip of land to Paul. This was done because it would be easier for Judy to receive a building permit withouthaving to explain why the 20-foot strip wasn't conveyed. Afterwards, Judy refuses to give thestrip to Paul. Who gets ownership of the strip/ Why?

2. Harry made an oral contract with Joe's garage to work as the manger of the garage for the next two years. Joe wrote Harry a letter stating all of the terms of the oral contract and signed the letter. Joe refuses to honor the agreement so Harry sues for breach of contract. Joe contends that their agreement can't be enforced because it was a two-year contract and had to be in writing under the Statute of Frauds. Who wins the suit? Why?
