Question

If that access decreases, then patients will not be referring others to the health center but patients will be leaving the health center. If patients cannot access the health center in a time of need, they then seek services elsewhere at the local urgent care or emergency room. This type of care is more expensive and will increase the overall cost of health care delivered. If patients are not asked about care obtained outside of the health center, important information that may affect the patient's care is not obtained.
