Question

Improve Assumed care of the patient at 0730. Patient was visible in the milieu at the start of the shift. Upon assessment patient endorsed feeling of depression, helplessness, hopelessness and suicidal thoughts with a plan to jump off a bridge. Am medication furosemide and spironolactone help due to hypotension. Pt. refused lidocaine patch starting it does not work. Patient was education on the importance of medication adherent. Patient verbalized understanding. Continuous q 15 min observation maintained to ensure safety.
