The patient was admitted with left precordial chest pain and aching of the left upper extremity. Following admission, he had episodic visual blurring, loss and dizziness. A myocardial infarction was ruled out. Neurological checks were unremarkable and within 2 days she was fully ambulatory and asymptomatic. Discharge diagnoses: (1) Precordial chest pain of unclear etiology, (2) Amaruosis fugax. PDx code with POA: 1 Secondary Diagnosis with POA: (Be careful with this POA).
