Question

A patient was admitted for deep erythema of the anterior and posterior upper and lower bilateral legs, bilateral upper arms, chest, back, and gluteal region. Physiciar's estimate is that 81% to 90% of total body surface appears to be affected by first-degree burn. Burns were sustained after using a tanning bed multiple times during the course of the day. Patient is very uncomfortable and slightly dehydrated. Patient is treated with IV hydration, morphine sulfate for pain, and silvadene to burns.
