Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (PPACA)
Topic is the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (PPACA). This law is also referred to as Obamacare. (When asked, President Obama did say that he is ok with people referring to the law as Obamacare.)The intent of the law certainly addresses a worthwhile need and that is providing health care insurance to millions of Americans that lack medical insurance. While the goal is worthy, there are many who question implementation of the PPACA to achieve the goal. As you are probably aware, the current law is under siege in Washington, D.C. Attempts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act have been unsuccessful.
