Question

A patient complains of a persistent migraine and has taken 50 mg sumatriptan orally for relief, but it has not helped. The patient is still having a migraine two hours after initial consumption of sumatriptan and phoned an advanced practice registered nurse who stated that another dose of sumatriptan can be taken as long as it has been ingested during a given time frame. How soon after the initial consumption can this patient take another dose?
