Patient a direct admit from the radiology department after the radiologist contacted the patient's PCP with the results of the Doppler. Upon arrival to the room a portable chest x-ray was completed, a renal US was performed, lab work drawn and an EKG completed. Patient has been assessed, documentation updated in the EHR, patient-oriented to room and all questions answered.Physician has been notified of the completed admission. Physician orders have been added by the PCP. principal diagnosis code.
