Part I: ERP system Microsoft Dynamics Nav

The completion of your ERP project in the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics Nav is relevant for the exam. You choose your own individual company, which you map within the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics Nav.

Good possibilities to find an individual company are already completed internships or also companies in which e.g. family members (father, mother, aunt, uncle) work. No company secrets should be included in the project. Cost rates may therefore be alienated with a factor. Basically, the goal is to understand the production process and map it in the ERP system.

Your work performance should include the following contents:
• a documentation (3-4 pages) consisting of:
- a short description of the basic data of the selected company (factual & formal objectives, business plan according to SINZ),
- a textual description of the processes, in particular the production process of the selected company (= task level according to Sinz)
- An overview of the relevant data of the task management level (resources), including organizational structure, machines, material
• The modelling of the processes and data of the described company in a separate client of the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics Nav

The evaluation criteria for your writing are:
• the completeness of your ERP model, 5 orders need to be posted (see Lea's example model: process steps have been completed)
• created documents from the ERP system: sales order, purchase order, purchase invoice, sales invoice, work order
• the consistency of your company data - especially costs, times and quantities
• the level of complexity (see Lea's model: more complexity gives additional points, but be careful because of time constraints and the subsequent elaboration of the case studies)
• Error-free ERP system (no critical error messages)
