The administrator of hapless hospital was extremely anxious for the minority recruitment program at the hospital to succeed. He felt that a person of color would be able to develop a better rapport with minority applicants than a white person. Jim Browne an African American personnel specialist was working in the benefits and compensation section of the HR department section of the HR dept at Hapless. The administrator re assigned Mr Brown to work in the minority recruitment area. Mr Brown did not want the job . He thought the whole assignment and its rationale was racial and expressed this to the administrator.
