Introduction

Although, Apple makes computers as well as their operating systems, this does not eliminate the need to consider hardware requirements for the OS. On the other hand, it does eliminate hardware compatibility issues as long as you are working with Apple hardware. Hardware requirements must be considered for Linux, too. There are a number of similarities between the Apple MAC OS X and Linux. In this discussion you will discuss those similarities with your peers as well as discuss the differences you've discovered between Mac OS X and Linux OS.

• Based on your research, discuss the similarities among the Mac OS X and Linux OS hardware requirements. Discuss the hardware compatibilities among the two. Why does working with Apple hardware eliminate hardware compatibility issues?
