I just returned from a Las Vegas trip (and not liking the weather I returned to in Michigan). My wife and I are not gamblers and spent our time visiting the many museums and parks. On a side note Vegas has many things to keep you busy outside of the entertainment and gambling stuff.
However, as I was standing in line waiting for more morning coffee, I was watching some of the casino table operators and wondered how to relate what they do to our class. Again, I know very little about how someone who manages a card game, but I assume their job is to provide a fair and enjoyable experience for the patrons. I am sure there is an expectation of a level of winning and losing.
