If you want to be successful in this business, you need to think outside the box when marketing your product, but is there such a thing as going too far? Let me give you this scenario and tell me your thoughts. Sponsors want their product to be seen when sponsoring a sporting event. The more visible, the higher the value. You are the owner of the New York Giants and Coca Cola comes to you and offers you $100 million/year to paint your field Coca-Cola red with a big Coca-Cola logo in the middle, do you do it? Why or why not? Do you owe a duty to your fans, investors, etc.? How do you iultimately make that decision?
