The orthopedic outpatient clinic is trying to improve their patient satisfaction. They have noticed that patients are not satisfied with their waiting time and have begun to do a weekly survey of their satisfaction. On week 18, they added video games and televisions to the waiting room and are wondering if this has made a difference. They have been using a measure of the percent of patients unsatisfied as a measurement for their team's success. Their goal is to reduce the percent unsatisfied to less than 10%.

a. Create a control chart that shows the percent of patients who are unsatisfied.  You will need to upload this control chart under the Homework 3 Other Documents link in Blackboard. Use a 12 point baseline for your initial centerline and any time that you shift your centerline due to a special cause.

b. How many shifts/changes of the mean occurred during the study? (Do not count the initial centerline position as a shift/change.)

c. Was the intervention that occurred in week 18 successful? How do you know this?

d. Did the reach their goal to have 10% or less unsatisfied? How did you determine this?
