Assignment:

This assignment provides you an opportunity to identify an organization's need for PCI-DSS compliance and to analyze the way the process is executed. For this assignment, you will play the role of a junior  information security analyst working for your current organization or a fictitious organization. The organization of your choice will need to become PCI-DSS compliant before using online applications that accept credit cards and customer personal information.

For this assignment, you are going to prepare a recommendation outlining PCI-DSS compliance for an organization of your choice. 

In your paper,

• Outline PCI-DSS compliance in an e-commerce site.
• Explain how the organization can move through the compliance process.
• Explain the consequences of non-compliance.
• Discuss possible mediation methods that could be implemented by the security team at the organization.
• Assess whether your proposed method would work as a means of performing recon for any other organization.
• Explain your rational using credible sources.
