As the provost of Progress University, you have been asked by the Board of Governors to revise the institution's general education evaluation plan to meet the needs of the university's increasingly diverse student population. You will present the new plan at the next Board of Governors meeting.

RE: Curriculum Development, Assessment, And Program Evaluation

1. Describe the general education program at any university.

2. Identify the goal(s) of the revised education plan.

3. Explain the direct and indirect assessment methodologies used in the evaluation process and provide a rationale for your selection of the methodologies.

4. Explain how the tools and methodologies connect in the plan, including supporting research for the tools and methodologies.

5. Outline a general timeline for implementing the plan.

6. Analyze how you would conduct an evaluation and determine conclusions based on the evaluation.

7. Explain what will be done with the results, including their effects on the initiative and future institutional planning.
