Question: Evaluate the success of the Health System Strengthening (HSS) intervention in a Tanzania . Your evaluation must cover the scope, mechanisms of change, process goals, and the outcomes of the Health System Strengthening (HSS) intervention in your selected country case studies. Submit a report of your evaluation, which addresses the following;

The health system performance challenge being addressed:
- Describe the health system performance challenge being addressed within the appropriate Health System building block, and
- Discuss how it is affecting the overall health system performance. Think about how one building block affects intermediary and overall health system goals.
The scope of the health system strengthening (improvement) intervention being implemented.
- Examine if it is vertical (within one building block) or horizontal (across other building blocks.
- Examine the mechanisms of change being employed.
Outcomes
- Evaluate the success of the HSS intervention by discussing the outputs, outcomes, and impact in line with your analysis of the health system performance challenge being addressed and scope of the HSS intervention implemented in your selected country.
Limitations
- Discuss the limitations of the HSS intervention which you have analysed in contributing to the overall health system performance, sustainability, and resilience.
Recommendations for addressing the limitations.
- A discussion of how the limitations of intervention can be addressed in carrying the continuing HSS government efforts. The recommendations must consider overall health system performance, sustainability, and resilience.
