Two speakers on stands 10 m apart are aimed directly at each other. They are emitting a pure tone at 440 Hz. Alice stands at a point exactly between the two speakers; this is a point of constructive interference, so the sound is quite loud. How far must she walk toward one or the other speaker in order to stand at a quiet spot?
