Make a list of recent United States icons that were not mentioned in Chapter 11. (If you were born or grew up in another country, you can make a list of icons from the United States that are sold in that country.) Also make a list of icons from other countries that are sold in the United States. Then consider the characteristics of innovators and how new ideas are adopted by cultures. For every icon you have listed, try to list the characteristics of the people (or part of the culture) who have adopted it. Post two U.S. icons and two icons from another country that are sold in the United States and the adopters of these icons. (See examples below.) Respond to at least two of your fellow students' postings by Day 7. (You must create one initial post and at least two responses, for a minimum of three posts for this discussion.)
