Do you agree or disagree The organizational structure of a professional team sports franchise definitely plays a role in its success or failure although I wouldn't say it's the sole reason. First off, more traditional leagues like the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL all have a commissioner whose job is to essentially make sure that the team is following league guidelines and other league related things. With having someone who is not the owner in charge of this, personally, I feel that there is more of a chance of the teams playing fair and a hopefully lack of corruption and cheating. Also, with having someone ensure that the team is following all the leagues guidelines, there is less of a chance of getting involved in unwanted scandals and other issues that could lead to more problems for the team. Another reason I think the organizational structure plays a role in whether the team succeeds or fails is because without an organizational structure, how will employees know what their job is and how will everything get done not only correctly but in a timely manner? With a proper organizational structure, everyone has a designated role and list of tasks that they.
