1. Explain the relationship between Organizational Development (OD) and Organizational Effectiveness (OE). Why is learning about OD so significant to understanding and securing OE?

2. An accurate definition of "effectiveness" stems from identifying and avoiding what is "ineffective." Accordingly, briefly offer a number of conditions under which we would consider an organization "ineffective."

Keep in mind that ineffectiveness does not usually result from one component; it is more often the result of a lack of congruence among a combination of factors (e.g., place an emphasis on interrelations among organizational components).
