You have a successful background in organizational development and change management consulting. You have just been hired by a large Fortune 500 facilities management company, to oversee a new Organizational Development department within the company. The firm is very political, has a lot of hierarchical structure, centralized decision-making, lacks diversity, and operates in functional departments. The organization would like to have long-term strategic change plan. They do not expect for this process to occur overnight, they are open to a long-term, steady approach to the change.

The President and CEO of the firm has asked for you to come to the next upcoming board meeting to present a plan of action, depicting how you are going to approach the organizational development initiative within the company and how it can truly benefit the organization. Using the concepts presented throughout the eight weeks of this course, develop a strategic organizational development plan for the company. Discuss how your plan will improve the organization and contribute to increased performance, job satisfaction, and productivity. Discuss how you plan to implement the changes within the organization. Remember that you are seeking to receive buy-in from the Board of Directors, so the content that you provide should be persuasive.
