Leaders need to rely upon a flexible slate of skills including strategic insight, stylistic flexibility and emotional stability as organizational success depends upon continuous change and the ability to exploit marketplace upheaval. Thus, the individual ability to anticipate the direction of change couple with the use of multiple tactics appropriate to the future situation may account for individual success.
