For an organisation to succeed in achieving its goals, its team leaders must build trust-based relationships, develop effective communication systems and processes, share information with others, involve others in decision making, and provide opportunities for staff to develop the skills they need. The team leaders need to network, and they must also be aware of relevant legislation, codes of practices and ethical principles.
