Some athletes believe that taking oral creatine will increase their endurance because it will increase the amount of phosphate available to their muscles for ATP synthesis.  This statement can be regarded as two hypotheses: (a) oral creatine increases endurance, and (b) oral creatine increases the amount of creatine available in muscles for ATP synthesis.  How could these two hypotheses be tested?
